Pavilion Playgroup, which is based on the Thorndown School site, is now able to expand due to an extension to their current premises. They offer more children pre-school sessions, and with emphasis on "wrap around care" from the Government this is an excellent arrangement to benefit parents and children within the Thorndown community.
Pavilion Playgroup has gone from strength to strength and have recently attained accreditation from the Pre-School Learning Alliance. With additional spaces they are able to offer even more activities for the children.
Pavilion Playgroup and Thorney's would like to welcome visits from parents and children to come and see their new premises and excellent facilities on offer.
The Thorndown Centre is managed by a group of representatives from the Thorndown Community, known as The Thorndown Centre Association, and they can advise on availability for lettings of the Centre, at competitive rates, to child based groups. The Thorndown Centre Association are currently arranging a mums and tots group to start in the Autumn Term.
