As parents of children attending Thorndown Schools you automatically become members of Friends of Thorndown Schools (FOTS). We are a group of parents, staff and friends of the Schools who have joined together to form a charity to raise funds for both Schools. These funds are equally shared between the Schools for extra equipment, books, computers, furnishings and anything the staff request for the benefit of the children that cannot be sustained by the tight school budgets. We are a very successful committee. This has only been made possible by the support we receive from yourselves at the fund raising events. We hold fund raisers almost on a monthly basis. These are varied in order to try and cater for everyone's tastes. We have family discos, bingo evenings, a Christmas Fayre, quiz nights, car boot sales and anything else we can think of.
